Thinking Skills

Kinderfield Highfield school sees the importance of developing good thinking skills in students as something that should be practical in their daily life. Inquiry-Based Learning is implemented in Preschool and Kindergarten levels. It encourages students to ask questions, explore materials, and share ideas. Students take roles in the learning process and construct a developmentally appropriate understanding of their world. Problem-Based Learning is implemented in Primary years. Project-Based Learning is implemented in Secondary years; it prepared to develop student’s research skill, multi-perspective thinking, and decision making.

Kinderfield Highfield emphasized student’s thinking behaviour to equip them with thinking skill and habit through solving problems. Students are given the experience to solve various problems that they encounter in life. Once in every semester students will do project-based learning that will teach them the skill to do research, implement multi-perspective thinking, response to a problem, and finally make a good decision. This program allows students to learn from their mistakes and to be more responsible in their behaviour and actions.
