The primary homeroom teacher is responsible for managing a primary classroom while delivering effective english instruction. The teacher supports students’ academic, social, and emotional development, fosters a positive learning environment, and helps students build strong foundational english skills.
Key Responsibilities :
a. Teaching & Learning :
Plan, prepare and deliver engaging english lessons aligned with the school curriculum
Use various teaching strategies to support different learning styles and abilities
Develop lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments
b. Homeroom Management :
Serve as the primary teacher responsible for the overall well-being of students in the class
Maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment
Support students’ social, emotional, and character development
Monitor student attendance, behavior, and academic progress
c. Assessment & Reporting :
Assess students’ learning through quizzes, assignments, projects, and exams
Provide constructive feedback to students to support improvement
Prepare student progress reports and communicate academic developments to parents
d. Communication & Collaboration :
Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and concerns
Collaborate with other teachers and school staff to support student learning
Participate in school meetings, professional development,and school events
Qualifications & Skills :
Bachelor’s degree in Primary Education, English Education, or related field
Max. 35 years old
Available in 2026/2027 academic year
1 - 3 years of experience in teaching primary/elementary level students/homeroom teachers
Strong communication, collaboration, and student wellbeing focus
Proficient in ICT & Educational Technology (Google Workspace & Teaching - learning apps)
Having a TOEFL/IELTS Certificate is a huge advantage
Loving children and having passion in education
Pleasant personality and highly adaptable to new challenges
Strong command of spoken and written English
Having a Responsible to Life attitude
