Program Development Computer Science - Secondary Level

To design, develop, and continuously improve Computer Science programs for Secondary Level students by aligning curriculum content, learning objectives, teaching strategies, and assessments with educational standards, technological trends, and student needs

Key Responsibilities :

  • Design and develop the Computer Science Program/Curriculum for Highfield Secondary School and its affiliates

  • Create teaching materials (syllabus, lesson plans, yearly/semester plans, worksheets, exam papers)

  • Conduct regular program evaluations and classroom observations

  • Update and revise curriculum materials as needed

  • Provide teacher training and communicate curriculum changes effectively

  • Communicate changes in program/curriculum to teachers

  • Communicate changes and updates to teachers and conduct trainings regarding the updates

  • Maintain continuous personal growth (skills, attitude, mindset, etc)

  • Handle administrative tasks (reports, documentation, Google Drive uploads)

Qualifications & Skills :

  • Bachelor/Master Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

  • At least 2 years of experience in teaching Computer Science/ICT at schools setting

  • Experience with the Cambridge IGCSE and AS/A level curriculum 

  • Adept in Computer Science / ICT and teaching it to Secondary Level students

  • Familiar with Syllabus, Lesson Plan, Yearly & Semester Plan, Worksheet, Exam Paper, and other teaching materials

  • Adaptable to changes

  • The ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment

  • Good Communication Skills with team members, teachers, and other related parties

  • Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, and project management skills

  • Strong analytical skills to learn and develop curriculum/program

  • Excellent customer - oriented attitude

  • Having a Responsible to Life attitude
