To create, manage, and publish engaging digital content that showcases school activities, achievements, and values while strengthening the school’s brand identity and communication with parents, students, and the wider community.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Content Creation :
Create engaging photo, video, and written content for the school’s digital platforms, including social media and newsletters
Capture school activities, events, classroom learning, and student achievements through photography and videography
Edit photos and videos for various platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook)
Ensure all content is aligned with the school’s branding, tone, values, and educational identity
2. Content Planning & Management :
Develop creative content ideas and manage monthly content calendars
Coordinate with teachers, staff, and relevant departments to gather and plan content
Manage posting schedules and ensure timely and consistent content publication
Organize and maintain digital media files and content archives in a structured manner
3. Social Media & Digital Presence :
Manage and update school social media accounts
Monitor engagement, comments, and messages, and coordinate responses when needed
Track basic content performance and provide insights for improvement
4. Collaboration & Communication :
Work closely with the Marketing, Admissions, and Academic teams to support school communication goals
Support school campaigns, promotions, and events
Assist in developing promotional materials to support student enrollment and school programs
5. Compliance & Safeguarding :
Ensure all published content complies with school policies related to student privacy, safeguarding, and child protection
Manage and maintain consent documentation for the use of student photos and videos
Uphold ethical, professional, and responsible standards in all media production and publication
Qualifications :
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Multimedia, Film, Marketing, or a related field
Proven experience as a Content Creator, Media Specialist, or in a similar role
Proficient in photo and video editing tools (e.g. Adobe, CapCut, Canva, or equivalent)
Familiar with major social media platforms and current digital content trends
Creative, proactive, detail-oriented, and well-organized
Strong communication and storytelling skills
High sensitivity to the school environment and child protection standards
Good understanding of branding, audience engagement, and digital communication
