Program/Curriculum Development Physics - Secondary Level

The program & curriculum development specialist physics is responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and evaluating. Physics curriculum and academic programs for Secondary levels. This role ensures that the curriculum is engaging, academically rigorous, aligned with educational standards and support students’ conceptual understanding, critical thinking, and scientific inquiry skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop the Physics Program/Curriculum for Highfield Secondary School and its affiliates

  • Create teaching materials (syllabus, lesson plans, yearly/semester plans, worksheets, exam papers)

  • Conduct regular program evaluations and classroom observations

  • Update and revise curriculum materials as needed

  • Provide teacher training and communicate curriculum changes effectively

  • Communicate changes in program/curriculum to teachers

  • Communicate changes and updates to teachers and conduct trainings regarding the updates

  • Maintain continuous personal growth (skills, attitude, mindset, etc)

  • Handle administrative tasks (reports, documentation, Google Drive uploads)

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physics Education, Physics, Science Education, or a related field

  • Strong knowledge of Physics concepts for Secondary education level

  • Experience in curriculum development, teaching Physics, or academic program design

  • Strong understanding of assessment design and instructional strategies

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and project management abilities

  • Having a Responsible to Life attitude
