Highfield Bekasi, February 4 & 11, 2023 - Highfield Secondary Final Championship

After two years of e-championship, it was finally time for the students to compete on-site again. All five Highfield Secondary schools, Bekasi, Bogor, Cirebon, Depok, and Duren Sawit, gathered together to join in the annual championship. Held in Highfield Bekasi, the final championship was divided into two days, one week apart. While some competitions were held online, such as comic strip, photo contest, and dance concept, the winners were announced on day one, along with painting, futsal, debate, and the debut competition, newscasting. Although it was the first time for the newscasting competition, there were quite a handful of participants.

Day 2 started with heavy rain, but that did not stop the students from giving their best. The 3 on 3 Basketball match alternated between boys and girls teams. Followed by MathArt and Stand-up Comedy, and ended with outstanding performances from the HiCoustic participants. The enthusiasm from all participants showed that the two year-pandemic did not stop them from developing their skills and keeping their spirits in showcasing their talents. As the theme of this year’s championship: Skill Up, Play Up!

Facts:
Highfield Duren Sawit is the first Highfield Secondary to open in 2011.
Highfield Bekasi opened in the same year as Highfield Cirebon in 2016. 
Highfield Depok opened in 2019, 9 years after Kinderfield Preschool Kindergarten Depok and 6 years after Kinderfield Primary Depok.
Highfield Bogor opened in 2022 and only has grade 7 for the time being.
